It's been a long time since I have last updated but with good reason. On October 23rd 2008 my daughter Aurelia made a safe entrance into the world. I have since been adjusting to motherhood and it has been great. Even all those sleepless nights, they are a blessing. She is a little blessing in our life. The other reason was because my computer was just too old and slow to work with anymore. Thankfully my wonderful husband gave me a new computer :) So there may soon be a new look in the works for Precious Awakening.

Even though I have been a bit busy with my lovely daughter, I have still been working on making hats, blankets, and gowns to donate to the hospital. In the last few months I have taught myself to knit and so a whole world of patterns are now open to me. I have my own knitting and crochet blog called "Oh, What a Wicked Web We Stitch!", where I have listed a pattern for a knitted Micro Preemie hat.
