I finished my first set of Precious Memory Box, and on January 28th I donated them to Beth Israel Medicial Center. It was bittersweet. On one hand I was happy to finally get to donate these boxes that I worked so hard on, but on the other hand I know what is their purpose. I wish that no one would ever receive these boxes because I don't want anyone else feeling the way that I do about Alana. It's so painful. I am glad that they will bring someone out there comfort, and provide a special place to keep their baby's belongings. Each of these boxes will become a very precious keepsake to someone. I just hope that whoever those people are know that they are not alone.

I made these boxes special. All of the boxes that I have painted, and that I will paint in the future are tattoo inspired. Behind each one there is meaning and symbolism.
