Inspiration:
This Precious Memory Box was inspired by a tattoo I had seen before
that had a strange looking bird with a star. So this is my interpretation
of it.
A Swallow (species of the bird) holding a heart. This symbolizes
that though we cannot hold out baby's in our arms we cradle them
still with our love- forever. Our love is warm, it's so strong,
and I know they (our babies) can feel it. The Swallow is a symbol
of luck, but this wasn't a significant symbol in creating this
box. Maybe it will mean something to the person who receives it.
This box has a yellow rose, one of the meanings of a yellow rose
is "Remember Me". I absolutely loved that. It is adorned
with Cherry Blossoms. The Cherry Blossom in Chinese culture as
a symbol of feminine beauty, strength, and love. The Cherry Blossom
is a very delicate flower that blooms for a only a short time.
In Japanese culture it represents transience of life (inevitability
of life ending).

Rose steam leafs are a symbol of hope.
The color white means innocence, purity, mourning, and in asian
culture children.
The color pink sweet, delicate, and soothing.
The color green in asian culture means family, peace, and harmony.
The color blue peace, and calm.
The color yellow hope, peace, in egyptian culture it means mourning,
and in native american culture it means love.
The color red joy, love, and in native american culture faith.
